Dave Holmes our occasional leader steps out in Madeira.
Robert, Robert and Robert were just 3 of the adventurous group of 8 who recently joined me on the Research and Development trip to the spectacular mountains and tranquil levadas of Madeira. Forget the stereotypical visitor to Madeira, we saw hardly any of the cruise ship and coach tour brigade until we rolled up in Funchal for our final night. To complete the Sherpa itinerary sure footedness, a head for heights and a reasonable level of fitness is more the order of the day.
