    With the uncertainty of the current situation, we understand that you may feel worried about booking holidays at the moment. To put your mind at ease, we will not be requesting any deposit until the trip has been guaranteed as fully operational again. So, you can book in the comfort of knowing that if it cannot run on the date selected, you shall not be charged a penny!

     

    We have a wide choice of UK trips available for both later this year and 2021. Plus, if you book now, you will not be required to pay a deposit. Just search by departure date on our website to find your next walking or cycling holiday.

    Terms & Conditions

    • Valid on new bookings made 25 May – 30 June 2020 for trips departing in 2020 and 2021 while COVID19 travel restrictions are in place. This offer does not include any boat-based trips.
    • Bookings to be made directly with Sherpa Expeditions online at sherpaexpeditions.com.
    • Your online booking will be noted as a tentative booking until such time that we are able to determine the viability of operating the trip with the advertised services and for the safety of our travellers.
    • On receipt of your booking, we will provide a confirmation of your tentative booking and supply you with your pre-departure information (trip notes & trip pre-departure notes) for your selected trip.
    • When a trip has been announced as operational following our review, you will be notified in writing. You will have 7 (seven) days to send a £150 per person deposit if your departure is more than 40 days before departure for trips within the UK, or 70 days before departure for trips in Europe (excl. UK), or full payment if your departure is within 40 days of departure for trips within the UK or within 70 days for trips in Europe (excl. UK). If however your circumstances have changed and you are unable to commit to the departure, there is no obligation for you to proceed with the payment.
    • The full booking terms and conditions that you agreed to upon registering online, will come into effect once you have made a payment.
    • Should you fail to pay the deposit or balance payment within the stated 7-day timeframe, it will be assumed you do not wish to continue with the booking and you will forfeit your reservation.
    • Should any additional deposits be required at the time payments are required, such as securing hotels, you will be notified of their availability and required to pay the additional deposit amount at the same time as the above clause states.
    • Note: If booking flights or pre or post tour accommodation, please check the conditions with those suppliers carefully to ensure they are refundable or transferrable in the event that the trip you have tentatively booked for is not able to be operated.
    • Passengers with existing bookings may not apply this offer retrospectively to their bookings.
    • Trips are subject to availability and trips reaching minimum numbers for guided departures to depart.
    • While our website may have said that the trip is guaranteed, this is on the basis that we have sufficient people booked under this offer for your future departure to operate, but until such time that we have announced the trip as operational, you should acknowledge the trip is still subject to restrictions and may not operate as planned.
